About ME

Liz Schroth is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC, a Nationally Board Certified Coach, and BCIA certified in Neurofeedback. Liz graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hamilton College in New York with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Biology with an emphasis on Neuroscience. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Georgia State University where she also completed 60 plus hours of advanced coursework in clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology.

Interesting Facts

Liz worked in various research and clinical capacities a the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and Georgia State University (GSU). At NIMH, Liz worked in the Development and Affective Neuroscience Center, the Clinical Neuroimaging lab, and Clinical Brain Disorders Branch. Liz worked in a variety of research capacities in the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program at NIMH

Liz worked in a Brain Bank at the National Institutes of Health where her passion for neuroscience grew.

Liz has published many articles ranging from ADHD to Anxiety to endocrine disorders. Her primary experience is working with anxiety disorders in both children and adults, especially anxiety that results from transitions.
